I had the privilege of going to my local Chicken Salad Chick and let me tell you I’m even more of a fan than I was before! I got to go behind the scenes to see what all is involved, learn about their story, and taste amazing things on their menu! My mom got to join as well! She is also a big CSC fan!
Meet the Owner
Meet Melissa! What a sweetheart she is! She was so kind to give me this opportunity. She is the owner of 3 locations in Arkansas so she is a busy lady! She let me meet the staff, tour the building, learn about the brand, and taste all the things! She made me love Chicken Salad Chicken even more…which I didn’t think was even possible!
Their Story
Chicken Salad Names- Meet the Chicks
It’s so neat to see how they named their chicken salad. You can read here how they come up with the names!
Let’s Eat!
I love all the different flavors that are offered. They have four categories: traditional, savory, fruity and nutty, and spicy (my favorite). I tend to eat the spicy ones the most but got to try new flavors today that I loved! You can check out their full menu here.
They also offer:
- Pimento cheese
- Egg salad
- Signature broccoli, grape, and pasta side salads
- Garden salads
- Fresh fruit
- Gourmet soups
- Signature club and deli sandwiches
- Mouth-watering desserts and cookies
- Sweet and unsweetened iced tea
- Lemonade and Coca-Cola products

Catering
Community Involvement
Here are a few things they do to serve in the community! -serving lunch each Wednesday in the St. Bernard cafeteria and donating a portion of sales to St. Bernards
-for the past several years they have served dinner monthly to the children and staff of City Youth in Jonesboro
-donating auction items, catering platters, cookies and gift certificates to various silent auctions and events for community organizations such as schools and other non-profits
-hosting in-restaurant philanthropy nights for organizations where a portion of the proceeds are donated to the organization
-supporting NEA Baptist Center for Good Grief Tuga’s Project
-partnering with the Foundation of the Arts in Jonesboro and Reynolds Performance Hall in Conway to donate meals to the performers and staff
-donating meals for John 3:16 members
-recognizing teachers with gift baskets and free meals
Philanthropic Efforts
The two initiatives of philanthropy for the brand are finding a cure for cancer and ending food insecurity. They participate in these efforts as well as donate to other organizations that strive to help others and make our community a better place. They love their three communities where their Chicks are located: Jonesboro, Conway and Fayetteville. Their teams live, work, go to school and raise their families in these communities. Their guests are generous to them and they want to do their part to make their team members’ and guests’ communities the best they can be.
Annually in November and December, they offer The Giving Card to their guests for a $5 donation to a local food bank. In return for this donation, the guest receives a free menu item each month during the following year worth a total $60. Proceeds have gone to Northeast Arkansas Food Bank in Jonesboro and Soul Food Cafe Mission in Conway
Cookie for the Cure
Currently they have the Cookie for a Cure where proceeds from the sale of our lemon sugar cookie are donated to Cure Children’s Cancer. They have partnered in the past with St. Bernards Runway for a Cure to support their efforts in aiding early breast cancer detection and treatment.
They also have a Chicken Salad Chick foundation that you can read about here.

I fell in love with this store and CSC the first time I ate there. It’s always delicious, and Mr. Tommy is the heartbeat of the visit. He’ll always make sure your visit is the best ever and that everything’s is good and delicious. Melissa takes pride in her store, and your not just a customer, you become a friend.
I’m so glad she picked Jonesboro to put in one of her stores.
Chicken Salad Chick is my favorite.🦋
